July 4th videos....

July 4th weekend!

We went to see Nana and Pop at the beach for the weekend... and then on Sunday we came back to see MiMi, PaPa, Great MiMi and Great PaPa at the lake. So... it was a water weekend... which was perfectly fine with Taylor. Have I mentioned that she LOVES the water??? Doesn't matter if it's the ocean... pool.... lake.... bath... she wants to be in it. You will see how happy she is at the ocean in the water... and then on the boat looking at the water it looks like she is thinking "Please let me get in." haha Enjoy! She kept calling the waves "bubbles" and when I gave her the bucket to play in the sand... she put it on her head and ran back to the water. She is our little fishy!!

Father's Day Weekend

We had the best time at the lake this Father's Day... we had a house full!!!! The more the merrier!!! Our good friends, the Giugliano's had a little bit of trouble with their boat... bad that their boat wasn't cooperating... good that they were all able to hang out and that Maria was able to play with Kylie and Taylor. Notice the picture of Kylie and Taylor pushing off of each other... this is already classic "them".... acting like sisters... they really do love each other so much. We had a great time that Saturday too at Taylor's friend, Harrison, 1st bday party! That is who she is with on the bouncy thing. Then there are two video that I loved from the weekend... one is of Taylor playing the piano. Everytime we go to MiMi and PaPa she gets sooo excited about the boats.... AND the piano! She runs to it!!! We were also blessed to have Pop (Cameron's dad) join us on Father's Day. The video is hilarious because Taylor can hear herself echo in my parents bathroom... and she loves that Pop is doing the noise too! Precious! My favorite video of the weekend is too long and wouldn't load on the site... I'm going to try and cut it down and then I will post it! Enjoy!!!!

Rewind.... Memorial Day

My best friend, Erin Colgan Foushee, visited with my family on Memorial Day... and of course she brought her camera! She just started her photography business, http://www.erinsagephotography.com/. Fun filled week!

I had a birthday! The big 27...

Nana and Pop came to visit for the weekend! We were at the lake all day Saturday and had such a great time with MiMi, PaPa, SaSa, Uncle Chris & Kylie (or as Taylor says... "KylKylKyl"... I'll try to get a video... it's too precious!)

Kylie went tubbing for the first time!

Then Sunday after church we went to Taylor's friend, Thomas Hudson. He is turning one! Yay Thomas! They had lots of fun blow up toys to play on!!! I'm not sure who enjoyed it more Taylor..... or CAMERON! haha!!

Then that evening (once it had cooled off a little bit- 90 degrees here today!) we went to our community pool. Taylor LOVED IT! I see many more visits in our future!

Feeding Freddie

Daddy taught Taylor to feed Freddie this morning... I love how gentle Freddie is with her!!

Animal Sounds

I finally captured a video with Taylor making some of the animal sounds she knows. You might be wondering why I ask her to say "Oreo." Our next door neighbors cat is named "Oreo" and Taylor LOVES HIM! So, when she goes outside she always calls "oreoreoreore." It is so cute! Enjoy!

Mother's Day

We had so much fun Mother's Day. After church we went to MiMi and PaPa's house and played in the frog pool at the lake with Kylie.

The Strawberry Patch

Monkey Joes

This great new place called Monkey Joes opened in Lexington recently. We are so excited that Stacey and Kylie are living here now so that we can do all of these fun things together. Taylor was really unsure of the entire place and started crying everytime we went on a slide. I think it was all still a little too old for her, but she enjoyed watching Kylie and SaSa enjoying it all! (For all you sports fans... don't you love Kylie's follow through on her basketball shot!!!)

Baby Einstein

I thought these were the sweetest pictures so I had to post them. Taylor watches a Baby Einstein every morning with daddy before he leaves for work and while mommy is finishing getting ready. How precious is her face?! She LOVES her Baby Einstein DVD's and is really starting to interact with them now.

Lake Murray

Last weekend we took Taylor out on our boat on Lake Murray. She LOVED it and learned how to make the "boat sound."

Our Easter Weekend at the Beach!!!!

For Easter this year we visited Nana and Pop at the beach. We had such a wonderful, fun, and relaxing time. We went to the beach (although it was VERY windy and we weren't there long). We saw the Easter bunny at the mall and he came to see Taylor at Nana and Pop's house Sunday morning! We visited their church and afterwards Nana fixed a FABULOUS Easter lunch. I know one of Taylor's favorite times was the easter egg hunt and of course taking her baths every night! She loves bath time... and I love that her hair is long enough now to play with!! Thanks Nana and Pop for an amazing Easter weekend! I took a lot of pictures this weekend and these are some of my favorites!

Lipstick

We bought Taylor a talking purse for her 1st birthday and there are all kinds of fun things inside. One of her favorites is the tube of lipstick.... 14 months and she already knows how to put on lipstick!!!! Oh my.... enjoy!

The Love of cousins....

Now that Aunt SaSa, Uncle Chris, and cousin Kylie are back in South Carolina we get to see them all the time! Kylie and Taylor have become soooo close and love playing together. Here are some pictures of them in the bath together. MiMi said that she had flashbacks, "I see Lauren with the big blue eyes and Stacey with the big brown eyes!"

Two birthdays to celebrate!

Meet the oldest member of our family (81)... and the newest (1)! My PaPa.. Taylor's "Great PaPa" is 81 years old this year (his b-day was Valentine's Day)! He is one of the most amazing people I have ever met!!! Happy Birthday Papa! Taylor was supposed to be born on his b-day but she waited 5 more days to be born on February 19th (the day her mommy and daddy met). I can't believe she is one!! Happy Birthday sweet pea! Mommy and Daddy love you soooo much!

Valentine's Day

We had the best Valentine's Day! I can't believe that one year ago I was due to have Taylor!! Cameron surprised me with a massage and dinner at home so that we could all be together! He read my mind and I couldn't have asked for a better Valentine's surprise. This video is that night before Taylor went to bed. Cameron was playing peek-a-boo and Taylor was having a blast. (Don't you love her Valentine's pajamas?!)

And the next American Idol is....

Taylor LOVES to talk and sing in her microphone... maybe she will be a singer like her daddy!

Shopping

Taylor is sooo funny with this shopping cart that MiMi and PaPa gave her for Christmas. She walks all around the house pushing it and has gotten really good at it! When she runs into a wall she just turns and adjusts it... it is priceless... enjoy!

Underwater Fun!

We went to the beach this weekend to celebrate Pop's birthday.... we LOVE coming to the beach to visit because there are always so many exciting things to do. This time we went to the aquarium!!! Taylor LOVED it. Her favorite part was the tunnel when the fish were all around us and swimming over our heads. She kept making an "ish" sound.... I think she was trying to say "fish!" Happy Birthday Pop!
